Role Overview & Responsibilities

Are you passionate about sustainability? We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join us.

Location: Bristol

Salary: £30,000 - £38,000

Matter is looking for a Junior Project Manager to support and drive forward their research and development projects.

In this role you will work closely with the technical teams, ensuring the success of key delivery milestones. You will be responsible for managing the full project life cycle from concept to completion.

Each day will be different; however, you can expect your role and duties to cover the following:

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Develop and maintain project plans, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
Monitoring, reporting and presentation of key project metrics.
Scheduling and disseminating actions for internal and external meetings, whilst tracking and documenting project changes and decisions.
Anticipate risks and act proactively to mitigate or address them.
Develop quality management processes and implement standard operating procedures.

What we need from you:
Experience of working in a Project Management role, ideally within a technical business.
The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
Proven experience working on projects in a fast-paced environment.
Great written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and complete projects within a set duration and budget.
