Olleco is a market leader within the recycling and renewable energy sector employing over 1000 people across the UK. We collect used cooking oil and food waste, converting it to bio-fuel, bio-gas, electricity, heat and fertiliser.

The role is based at our Westcott Park Anaerobic Digestion plant, which operates on 2 CHP engines providing electricity back to the national grid. The barrel team are a core function of the plant, helping ensure a core process of the plant operates smoothly.

More about the role:

• Ensure all tasks are undertaken in a safe and compliant manner
• Loading and unloading palletised barrels from HGV trailers
• ing and cleaning barrels
• Using a combination of manual handling and Forklift trucks to complete tasks
• Acting in a timely manner to maximise operational performance
• Undertaking the day-to-day operation of the barrel processing and working as a team with the other functions onsite (engineering, processing, H&S etc)
• Performing tasks as appropriate to ensure the continuous and effective performance of the facility

To join the team, you will need:

• High Health & Safety standards
• Forklift licence is desirable but not essential
• Experience in manual labour or an industrial-related field is desirable but not essential
• Experience of working on a mobile plant would be desirable but not essential
