Graduate Business Development Associate

Are you a recent business or finance graduate looking to start your career within a leading strategic software acquisition company?

We are looking for someone to join our growing team as a Business Development Associate, to communicate and build relationships with established software companies and build our pipeline of target companies to grow our existing Portfolio. In this role, you will learn to manage the entirety of the M&A process, over an extended period of time, to deliver the full closure of the sales of new businesses in our Group.

Job Summary:

Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Development resources are responsible for establishing contacts and nurturing relationships with CEO’s and owners of established software companies around the globe.

You will drive our acquisition activities of sourcing and nurturing target companies through:

  • Creatively identifying leads for vertical market software businesses meeting our strategic criteria and specific metrics
  • Oversee the long-term M&A cycle from inception to completion, through initiating and nurturing close relationships with target companies.
  • Maintaining and building a proprietary database of industry contacts
  • Developing and conducting prospecting campaigns through digital media, outbound calling, in-person meetings, and industry events
  • Demonstrating creativity, innovation, persistence, and credibility in reaching out to owners, operators, and C-Suite leadership
  • Gathering, analysing, and presenting target company information to the M&A team and company executives

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

· Recently graduated, with a degree in business or finance – ideally with some knowledge of Mergers & Acquisitions

· Urgent attitude towards driving sales and marketing lead volumes to generate a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities

· Is driven and results orientated, with exceptional eye for detail

· Will enjoy forming and nurturing relationships with executives and thought leaders

· Strong communication skills & be self-motivated
