General Foreperson
Contract up to 12 months
Up to £450 a day (umbrella)
Cambridge

We are currently working alongside a leading civil engineering and construction organisation to recruit a General Foreperson on a 12 month contract basis in the Cambridge area.

The General Foreperson will be overseeing the construction of a multi-storey, hospital car park.

Responsibilities will include:

· Ensure site operations teams operate in accordance with Risk Assessment Methods statements:

· Brief site teams and sub-contractors on specific works instructions and ensure they operate in accordance them

· Provide evidence of compliance in respect of sustainability, quality and safety:

· Liaise with all parties involved in project to maintain smooth running:

· Regular communication with senior site manager and engineers.

· Liaise with technical managers to clarify designs and work instructions.

Experience Required

· Proven track record in delivering civil engineering/construction projects

· Experience in the construction of multi-storey car parks

· CSCS Card

· Knowledge of safety requirements

· Experience of remote site works supervision

· Working with sub-contractors

· Strong supervisory and communication skills
