Production Operative Required

Shifts: Monday – Friday - Start times from 6.30am

This is a full time position 40 hours plus per week - no part time available

MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF 17 YEARS OLD DUE TO NATURE OF JOB

Located: Queenslie Industrial Estate

Salary: National Minimum wage

Full training will be provided to the successful candidates alongside the opportunity to progress and learn new parts of the business.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Correct and safe operation of any of the following including machinery once trained.
• De-palletising, De-boxing, De-Scaling, De-Heading, Machine Filleting, Hand Trimming, De-Boning, Packing, Labelling, Icing and Palletising, Portions machine, Multivac, Mincer, Whizzard Trimmer, Skinning Machine, Vac Pack, Promens Machine, UV Machine.
• Correct and safe use of knives (Kevlar cut resistant glove will be provided.
• Correct handling of raw material, (Fresh Farmed Salmon/Trout).
• Compliance with Company policies and procedures at all times.
• Maintenance of customer product quality standards.
• Good personal cleanliness and hygiene practice.
• The cleaning and disinfection of all items of equipment, work surfaces, floors and walls throughout the production area as directed to the required standard, before break times during production and at the end of production.
• The correct wearing of personal protective equipment as directed, in designated areas.
• Good working practice at all times with emphasis on your own health and safety and the health and safety of your colleagues and visitors.
• Any other reasonable request as asked of you by supervisors or management.
