HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER - DAYS

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Owens Group are looking for enthusiastic & conscientious HGV Class 2 drivers for our Cardiff operation working on Mon – Fri day shifts. Additional hours/shifts will be available if required.

£12.50 per hour (£13.50 per hour with relevant ADR qualification)

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A valid clean HGV Class 2 licence (minor points considered)
• A digital tachograph card and full CPC
• Minimum 1 years of driving Class 2 is essential to be considered for the role
• Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
• Good geographical knowledge
• Excellent customer service
• Driven Class 2 within the last 6 months
• Previous multidrop experience

The Role:

Working for a fast paced family owned national company. Based at our Cardiff site, you will work a Mon – Fri on our modern fleet of new or nearly new trucks. You will be responsible for the following:

• Providing excellent customer service
• Adhering to all Tachograph, Driver and Road Regulations
• Pre-start Vehicle safety checks and vehicle cleanliness
• Completion of all legal and customer relevant paperwork
• Excellent driving assessment and induction training programme with ongoing training opportunities including Driver CPC module updates

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £12.50 per hour
