​​​​​​​​​​​​​​A little bit about what we are looking for...
Working closely with the Senior Sales & Marketing Officer and collaboratively with the sales team, you will have a natural ability to engage and influence people and are motivated by working to demanding goals and targets. To be able to progress a range of sales transactions and provide excellent customer service.

We are happy to offer hybrid working with this role; You will be required to be in the office for around 2/3 days per week with the rest being from home, however please bear in mind we may need you to be in the office more within your probation and training. It's important to us that you feel fully ready and confident in the role before working from home. Of course if you'd prefer to be in the office more, then that is completely fine with us too!

Your responsibilities...

  • Undertake property viewings and provide expertise on the unit types, specifications and the buying procedure. Dealing with all prospective/existing customers in a professional and engaging manner to ensure the best customer experience
  • Assist with all aspects of the marketing and conveyancing process; to progress the new build shared ownership programme, managing transactions to achieve set sales targets
  • Take responsibility for sales leads, progress sales diligently ensuring customers fully aware of the journey ahead to agreed timescales
  • Liaise with stakeholders including solicitors, surveyors, HomeBuy Agents, Neighbourhood and Homeownership teams to ensure that sales targets are met
  • Liaise with Development staff and ensure all the necessary conveyance and sale documents are in place
  • Manage and be responsible for maintaining the presentation of any show apartments, sales reception area and plot units and site signage
  • Ensure defects or faults in new build properties are recorded and monitored for completeness with the Project Manager, Repairs Department or buyer
  • Input into preparation and production of all aspects of marketing for new build developments
  • Manage and report on all aspects of SO and LSOP property resales, SO conversions and staircasing in accordance with procedures and relevant timescales and financial targets.
  • Monitor progress of viewings and sales including statistical analysis to demonstrate sales progression and marketing activity effectiveness

Our ideal candidate...

  • Proven experience in public sector and sales and marketing experience including NBHB, IMR/MR, staircasing and resales
  • Working knowledge of and proven experience ensuring compliance with Data Protection laws and the Consumer Code
  • Knowledge of housing management systems
  • Knowledge of the conveyancing process and the legal aspects associated with property sales
  • An understanding of the affordable housing sector, Local Authority and HCA requirements in line with the Capital Funding Guide
