About Our Client

Our Client who is conveniently located in Luton with very easy public transport routes around and free parking are looking to grow their busy finance team. one of the main focuses are employee progression and the look at all temps with a view of going Perm with flexible working.

Job Description

  • Raise, issue purchase orders (adhoc), maintain & close cancelled PO's
  • Maintain supplier accounts & add new supplier accounts
  • Margin calculation of supplier cost of sales invoices
  • Distribute invoices for approval
  • Enter, match and code invoices to purchase orders in Sage; using POP / manual entry
  • Notify team of costs incurred when customer has not yet been billed, to ensure timely receipts in line with payments
  • Execute monthly payment runs by BACS and reconcile to the purchase ledger
  • Notify CFO/FM of DD notifications and adhoc payments to be made
  • Understand supplier contracts and reoccurring costs, record recurring in spreadsheets
  • Identify prepayment costs, process via prepayment module, save to month end file
  • Identify fixed asset acquisition costs, work with FM/Stores to ensure all asset costs are appropriately managed, all additions must be verified and posted correctly within both Sage/Sicon Fixed Assets and reconciled in a spreadsheet.
  • Manage & resolve queries and enquiries from suppliers & internal queries
