Festival / Event Catering Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Festival Catering assistants required for Download Festival. We are looking for 2 staff members to travel to Download festival to work from Wednesday 7th June until Sunday 11th June and there is a possibility for more work throughout the summer at festivals and events to September for the summer season.

Festivals we are visiting include IOW, Download, Boomtown, Leeds, Reading and many more

Arriving prior to the event for accreditation and leaving post event once packed down. You will be serving on our vegan hotdog mobile catering stall. Candidates must be prepared to stay away for the duration of the event and a camping space is provided.

Duties include but are not limited to - front of house, delivering exceptional customer service, food preparation, ongoing cleaning of the working area and assisting with setup and pack down of the stall.

It is a very fast paced environment and extremely physical work so experience in a similar paced work setting is essential.

Successful candidates who do not have level 2 in food hygiene will be required to complete the online qualification before working at the events. Photo ID is required for entry to festivals and accreditation.

This is an excellent opportunity for fun team players to earn well whilst having an enjoyable summer at the UKs top musical events and festivals. Travel from Bristol and food and drink for the duration of the journey will be provided.

Contract length: 4 months

Salary: £11.00 per hour
