Veterinary Receptionist

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a friendly Veterinary Receptionist to join our team for maternity cover. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for animal care. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, filing paperwork, and managing the front desk. The Veterinary Receptionist will also be responsible for providing basic information about our services and products to clients.

The role will include, but is not limited to:

• Greeting clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner.
• Scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
• Maintaining accurate records of pet visits and treatments.
• Processing payments for services rendered.
• Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry.
• Providing customer service support to clients and their pets.
• Ensuring the reception area is clean and tidy at all times.

The shifts are on a rota basis and there is a 1:4 Saturday morning.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 9-12 months
Part-time hours: 30 per week
