Apprentice Welder/Fabricator

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We have an opening for an apprentice welder/fabricator. Working along side our experienced trades you will learn a wide range of skills to become a well rounded metal worker and welder.

Candidates will be required to enroll in the relevant course at one of the local colleges of York, Leeds or Selby on a day release scheme. No experience is necessary but some prior knowledge or relevant work would be advantageous and the roles are also open to those that are currently on full time college courses. Applicants should-

• Have at least 3 GCSE’s including math's and English
• Ability to attend college and the workplace
• Be reliable, honest and hardworking with a desire to learn a trade.

All apprenticeships will lead to full time permanent roles with the company, and there is a commitment to a minimum length of service once qualified.

Applications will also be considered from improvers who have completed some or all years of their courses on either a full or part time basis.
