Role Overview & Responsibilities

This is an opportunity to join a long established company working in our small team of engineers in a permanent long term position. The job offers good working conditions and rate of pay for the right person, is a mixture of workshop and site working with overtime available if desired. Interesting and varied work covering a wide range of structural and decorative steel work as well as stainless steel and aluminium sheet and section for all applications.

You should have a wide range of experience in steel fabrication, erection and site works, be able to work from drawings and preferably be coded in MIG welding. Experience in TIG welding would be advantageous but not essential, along with experience in the use of guillotine and sheet folders. The right candidate will be well presented with good communication skills and used to working to a high standard as part of a team.

Licences for overhead crane, forklift, ipaf as well as CSCS card would be an advantage, but will be offered as part of our training package for those without.
