Frontend Developer – £50,000

Responsibilities:

• Directly reporting and collaborating closely with the Managing Director of Engineering and Product Development.
• Front-end development as part of larger teams on websites and apps for a range of international clients and household brands, utilizing the latest technologies;
• Maintenance and additional scopes of existing client sites, optimizing for best practices, security and conversion amongst the maintenance pod;
• Working with our local and global design teams on delivery of UX;
• Backend development to the extent of API integrations, but can form part of a formal training;
• Report into a Technical Lead in the vertical, and your Project Manager.

Experience:

• 5 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript (preference to React, Node, Typescript) although upscaling and training is available;
• An eye for detail, given you’ll be working with designers on their UX strategy and Visual creations;
• An understanding of business and ability to learn a client’s business;
• Keen usage of Github, JIRA, Confluence and similar tools at scale;
• An appreciation of working in larger teams with Technical Project Management, Tech Leads, and QA resources;
• An appreciation of process and documentation within the Software Development Life Cycle;
• Great written skills internally, with an ability to present and run sessions with stakeholders – the ability to take a technical concept and explain to non-technical stakeholders is a plus;
• An ownership over project deliverables;
• Any previous experience on eCommerce (Shopify, BigCommerce) is an added bonus.

Hybrid – Lincoln 3X a week
