Role Overview & Responsibilities

Great Optician Needed!

We are a well-established Ophthalmology practice located in the heart of thriving downtown San Mateo, and we are looking to add a super Optician to our team. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train someone who possesses a friendly personality with a strong customer service attitude and background.

Some of the duties to be performed:

• Greeting, assisting patients and answering phones.
• Frame selection
• Frame adjustments and dispensing
• Educating patients on their optical lens choices
• Explaining insurance benefits and allowances
• Calculating and collecting payments and co-pay

This is a Full-time position, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm.

Ideal candidates have experience as a retail sales associate, sale account executive, sales representative, optical sales, lead optician, apprentice optician, optical sales dispenser, inside sales representative, brand ambassador, account manager, sales manager, and/or sales development representative.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
