Kennel Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking to hire 3 members of staff. 1 maternity cover, 1 permanent and 1 temporary (with a possibility of becoming permanent) with immediate start. All applicants must outline any pre-booked holidays on their application. Successful applicants must be flexible and able to work weekends with a strong work ethic. We are hopeful all applicants will be able to progress to further roles within the business.

• Follow standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines to maintain the cleanliness of kennels and cattery to the highest standards. This includes cleaning and disinfecting animal accommodation, drains, exercise areas, food prep areas and laundry areas
• Ensure positive welfare for each animal through play, enrichment, exercise and socialisation.
• Completing kennel maintenance jobs
• Assisting in the grooming room
• Taking part in off-site country walks.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekend availability
