Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Statutory Assessment & Monitoring Service are responsible for managing the statutory assessment and review process in relation to Education, Health & Care Plans. We are looking for a full time, permanent member of staff to join our team, working on the administrative processes within the department.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be an effective team member, yet able to use their own initiative. You will also need to be able to work under pressure and have a flexible approach to changing priorities in order to meet deadlines.
You will require a good level of administrative skills and be confident in using the telephone. The post holder will also need to be confident in using applications such as One Drive, Outlook and will be trained on the internal database workflows.
Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Enhanced Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service. The Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
