Production Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job Purpose- To carry out production operative tasks required to produce a first class quality product in a safe and hygienic production environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

PRODUCING – ensuring goods are packed correctly, neatly, labelled and full traceability applied to all packaging. Moving completed pallets into the warehouse and placed in an orderly manner.

MONITORING AND REPORTING – ensure that all quality is monitored and recorded and reporting on any issues and concerns to your shift manager.

HEALTH AND SAFETY AND HYGIENE – ensure all health and safety checks are performed at the start of each shift, ensure that all strict hygiene rules are adhered too and report any concerns and issues to the shift manager.

COMMUNICATION – responsible for conducting hand over with next shift operator and relaying any concerns to your shift manager during your shift, effective communication at P.I.C.L.E meetings.

ORGANISING/HOUSEKEEPING- organising your workspace, ensuring it is clean and tidy and safe.

MANAGING INFORMATION AND ADMIN SUPPORT- ensuring that all production paperwork is read, understood and adhered too and that all paperwork is filled out in a timely manner.

SELF DEVELOPMENT – participate in P.I.C.L.E and staff evaluation,communicate any areas of concern and highlight any further training /aspirations that you wish the company to consider.

DATA INTEGRITY- ensure that any mistakes are not obliterated but are single line cross out and new info placed as close to the original and signed for- this is critical for data integrity and traceability.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £12.20 per hour
