What will the apprentice be doing?

Apprentice required to work with experienced technicians to carry out the following duties:

• Repairing mobile phones
• Repairing tablets
• Mobile phone LCD refurbishments
• Quality control
• Follow process guides
• Interact with customers and fellow workers

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

This is a Lean Manufacturing Operative Level 2 apprenticeship. This apprenticeship will be delivered via virtual classroom sessions, including distance learning materials, as well as regular visits by your assessor, at the company site.

• Health & Safety within a Manufacturing Environment
• Communicating and Working effectively within a Manufacturing Environment
• Working Relationships and Individual Rights & Responsibilities within a Manufacturing Environment
• Application of Workplace Organisation and Work Related Problem Solving Techniques
• EAL Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing
• ETCAL Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing
• Pearson BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing
• OAL Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

• Full time position at the company upon successful completion of this apprenticeship.
• In-house qualification L2 and L3 in mobile phone repairs.

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Salary: £17,500.00-£32,194.21 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Cardiff: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
