Role Overview & Responsibilities

Polypipe Building Products are focused on delivering solutions to the residential sector. Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products.

Role: The role as a brand merchandiser requires strong commitment, enthusiasm and drive as well as a thorough customer focused approach to effectively support the rollout and effective merchandising initiatives to increase sales across merchants and distributor networks covering from Swindon and down to the Cornwall and across to South Wales area.

Collaboratively working alongside the Channel Marketing function, this role operates autonomously with minimal supervision, requires strong commitment, enthusiasm and drive as well as a thorough customer focused approach to effectively support the rollout and effective merchandising initiatives to increase sales across merchants and distributor networks.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update detailed call plan monthly/weekly as requested.
• Implement merchandising plans in nominated merchants.
• Install point of sale materials and create and maintain database on installations.

Requirements:

• Demonstrate a good level of visual awareness and be capable of communicating at all levels.
• Understand customer needs.
• Experience of buying principles and store processes would be advantageous.

Hours of work: This is a full time role that is home / field based.

Rate of pay: Competitive Salary on offer & Company Car.
