Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job role: Trainee baker P/T

Estimated hours: 30 hours per week

Pay £11.95 p/h (base)

Role:

You will be working with our head baker and assisting with daily production of bread pastries cakes and much more.

You will be expected to:

- Assist with preparation and bake of a variety of breads, pastries and baked goods

- Assist with preparing and loading our wholesale deliveries as well as our bespoke orders

- Maintain a supremely high standard of hygiene safety and cleanliness at all times, this includes daily cleaning and a bi-weekly deep clean.

- Monitor stock and assist with reordering

- Be pro-active and capable of working alone on occasion

Training will last 2 months with the expectation to move to either a full or part time role once this is complete. Your salary will be reviewed once the training process is complete.

Requirements:

- Must be relatively flexible and available to work some weekends

- Valid right to work in the UK

- Bakery experience is not mandatory, any chefs or home bakers looking to take on the challenge of working in a professional bakery kitchen will also be considered.

Other info:

- Early morning starts but no night shifts

- Shift start time: 5:30am

- Schedule: 4-5 days a week including some weekends

- Opening days Tuesday-Sunday

- Free food and beverages on shift, paid break, supplier visits and much more

- Training on the job
