Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a proactive and ambitious Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. The candidate will complete sheet metal work in accordance with the company's fabrication processes. A day in your role as a Sheet Metal Fabricator will involve:

  • Conducting manufacturing functions from start to finish
  • Develop and fabricate items including but not limited to lobster backed bends, elbows, tee pieces, reducers, square to rounds, vessel dome heads, valve, flange boxes
  • Conducting quality assurance checks and ensuring product matches specifications
  • Cleaning the work area to ensure a clean and tidy environment is maintained
  • Completing visual inspections of equipment and machinery
  • Working with the Fabrication Technical Team Leader to develop skills and knowledge
  • Providing support to Fabrication Facility Supervisor when required
  • Working with Trainees
  • Review drawings and specifications as per job requirement
  • Appropriate use of templates, measuring instruments and tools.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Engineering/production experience
  • Experience of quality control
  • Experience with technical drawings
  • Knowledge on Health and Safety
  • Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings/requisitions
