Warehouse Operative

This expanding manufacturing business in the Telford area are looking for an experience forklift driver / warehouse operative to join their team. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, driving forklifts and picking and packing orders. They have counterbalance and flexi/bendi trucks, they work on a 3-shift rotation pattern and offer good benefits.

The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for:

• Driving Forklift Counterbalance and/or Bendi/Flexi truck
• Order picking and packing
• Reading from picking sheets
• Loading and unloading
• Allocating stock to stores
• Operating computer system
• Working as part of a team to deliver materials to production
• Moving finished goods from production to despatch
• Preparing orders for shipment
• Working to health and safety regulations
• Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse environment

Skills and Experience required:

• Must have worked in a warehouse / stock control environment previously
• Must hold a Forklift Counterbalance and/or Bendi/Flexi truck license
• Computer literate
• Good written and verbal
• Team player
• This role would suit a candidate who has previously worked as a Stock Controller / Stores operative / Forklift Driver
