Support Worker - Education or Supported Living

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Pro Locums 24 is currently recruiting motivated and enthusiastic support workers, on behalf of our clients based in Gloucester, Stroud, Cheltenham and the surrounding area, both permanent and agency work is available depending on your availability. We have positions and work available within adult supported living settings and children's homes, day and night positions are available, some day positions require people to do sleep-ins. Permanent Positions £10.42ph

Shifts: 7am-10pm, 4pm-10pm + sleep-ins, 7:30am-3pm. 3pm-10pm, 8:30am-4pm

Weekends: either alternative weekends or either a Saturday or Sunday

Earn £78.15 - £156.30 per day

Agency Positions £11.50ph - £15ph

Shifts: 7am-10pm, 4pm-10pm + sleep-ins, 7:30am-3pm. 3pm-10pm, 8:30am-4pm, waking nights

Earn £86.25 - £225 per day (dependant on location and length of shift)

Duties can vary depending on the setting but can include; assisting and planning support requirements, monitoring residents mental health, administering medications and promoting and maintaining an environment conducive to meeting the needs of the residents, providing emotional support, supporting in everyday activities and helping with domestic duties.

Requirements

· Minimum 6 months ideally 2 years recent work experience as a support worker

· Your own car preferably

· Current DBS on the online update service (this will speed up the process)

· Up to date mandatory training certificates (this will speed up the process)
