Machine Operator

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Proactive Personnel is recruiting a number of Machine Operatives for our industry-leading client based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire on a straight permanent basis.

This role is working in a food production environment so all candidates must be comfortable wearing relevant PPE, hairnets, beard nets, aprons & safety boots. Previous experience is preferred but all training would be provided.

The role is incredibly repetitive, working on machines to fill & seal various items. You will be responsible to the day to day running of the machines, reloading equipment, quality checking, palletising produced stock. Candidates may need to lift 12kg maximum when packing pallets.

We are looking for candidates for this role that are willing to learn from training offered at the site and to develop their skills further.

Hours:

Monday-Thursday 7:00 – 15:25

Friday 7:00 – 14:15

Overtime available on weekdays in two hour blocks.

Saturday overtime also available but not mandatory. (8:00 – 12:00/16:00)

Starting salary £10.42 per hour rising after a maximum of 3 months & in further incrimants the more trained you become
