
Maintenance Person
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Maintenance Person for our care homes, initially based in Hedon and Bridlington
Previous experience of working in a maintenance role or very good handyman skills
- Good knowledge of relevant Health and Safety regulations and compliance
- Good Written and Verbal skills
- Intermediate IT skills in Microsoft word and use of email
- Physically fit and able lift light items of equipment and furniture
- Able to use and maintain hand and power tools
- Knowledge including, but not limited to basic plumbing, joinery, painting and decorating
- Ability to be able to prioritise, respond and adopt a positive approach to work
- Able to carry out some cleaning as directed
- Able to work on and maintain external areas
You should be a clear and effective communicator and able to relate well to a variety of people such as residents, relatives and other staff. You will be self – motivated, tidy and be able manage, prioritise and work to deadlines.
Full and part time contract available.
Salary £12.25-£12.75 an hour dependent on experience
