Are you an experienced Care Manager who strives to provide high levels of care to residents within a care home setting?

Would you like to join a fantastic care provider at one of their Top 20 homes in the North East?

An experienced and motivated individual is required to effectively manage a lovely service in the North Shields area. The home is a large service which provides residential care to people with dementia, it has an excellent reputation with the local community.

We are looking for someone who possesses experience and knowledge of effective staffing, development and retention in a care setting, who is focused and determined to strive to be an exceptional Care Manager. You will likely already be a successful Care manager with a strong track record.

Job Requirements for the Care Manager:
  • Working alongside the Manager - day to day responsibility and running of the home
  • Staff management/ appraisals/ training
  • Care plans/ reviews/ meetings
  • Budgets
  • To ensure effective induction of all staff, together supervision of trained staff, mentorship and assessment of care assistants and induction of new care staff.

Skills/ Qualifications for the Care Manager:

  • Experience in care home mgmt., audits, care supervision & NVQ Level 3 Health & Social care
  • Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards & safeguarding issues
  • Dynamic & Enthusiastic and the ability to lead, develop and motivate staff
