Role Overview & Responsibilities

A Ride Operator is tasked with the day-to-day operation of the many attractions here within the adventure park, this can include Bumper Boats, Jurrassic Jeeps, Horse & Barrel, Pedalo Boats, Boating Lake, and many more!

Daily operations include (but are not limited to) pre-use inspections of the attractions and safety equipment, properly boarding participants, monitoring activity on the attractions, and maintaining the safety of the equipement, participants, and yourself.

Ride Operator requirements are set out as follows:

• 16 years or older to operate all attractions and positions
• Capabilities to bend, stoop, and stand for long peiods of time as required by the nature of the role
• Must be willing to work outdoors for extended peiods of time
• Demonstrate complete understanding of safety components and be able to board guests onto attractions whilst being concious of their limitations
• Express appropriate behavior towards guests on and off the attractions
• Operate numerous outdoor and indoor rides and attractions througout the working day
• Demonstrate a high cleaning standard to promote and maintain a tidy environment both onsite and in staff communal areas
• Ability to identify potential hazards in line with the activties daily checklists
• Ability to confidently communicate safety information to guests of all ages

Puxton Park is a fast paced working environment, candidates must be flexible and responsive to work any time during a 7 day week. A working schedule is always provided a month ahead however should the business require; adjustments may be made to your schedule.

This is a zero-hour contract position and pay is determined by the national minimum wage.

Job Type: Zero hours contract

Salary: £4.81-£9.50 per hour

Experience:

• Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
