Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Technology, Media & Telecoms (TMT) team within DDV is a small team of c. 20 individuals within a broader DDV organisation (c. 250 heads). We work on a wide range of transactions, primarily for private equity houses and large corporates.


The job will require some degree of travel, although our clients are increasingly accustomed to working offsite. As a team we are committed to PwC’s New Deal, which is built on two-way flexibility and trust.


As a Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • managing project teams (typically 2 to 10 individuals depending on the project requirements);

  • managing the end-to-end delivery of projects, from initial data gathering to production of a final report/deliverable;

  • being the PwC key point of contact for the client;

  • ownership of project commercials, from initial fee discussions through to issuing of final invoices; and

  • coaching junior team members on our methodologies and sharing sector knowledge.

Professional experience

You must have worked in a Professional Services firm providing operational due diligence services to Private Equity and/or Corporate clients. Successful candidates will have experience on the majority of the following types of project:

  • Sell-side carve-out support

  • Buy-side carve-out due diligence

  • Operational due diligence / cost reduction / value creation

  • Cost synergy development / synergy reviews

  • Integration planning / execution

You should also have experience of working for companies or looking at targets in the Technology, Media and/or Telecoms sector
