DevOps Engineer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the tech team of a successful sustainability company with Saas.

To be successful in this role you will apply your knowledge of AWS to ensure the smooth running of the company’s IT infrastructure, including:

• CloudFormation
• RDS
• Elastic Beanstalk
• IAM
• CodePipelines
• Configuration of VPN, subnets and security groups.

You will also bring with you experience of:

• Jenkins, including setup and configuration to manage builds and test runs
• Scripting in Poweshell or Python to manage builds and test runs
• GIT flow or similar branching model
• Developing and supporting Blue Green deployments
• Supporting and promoting CI/CD processes within a development team
• Troubleshooting and reporting on issues within local and hosted environments
• SQL database development
• Supporting both manual and automated testing with provisioning test environments

With a self-sufficient attitude, you will take ownership of tasks and manage them through to successful completion. You will have a collaborative approach and will bring with you experience of and enjoy working as part of a small team, and have the confidence to voice opinion and share ideas to improve the team’s work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £45,000.00 per year
