About the role:

The role of the HR and Recruitment Assistant is to own the recruitment function end to end, from creating job descriptions, advertising, arranging and holding interviews; onboarding and conducting new starter inductions. The role involves working with department heads to support their staffing needs.

You will also be required to respond to general first-line queries from colleagues of all levels that relate to all aspects of Human Resources and where appropriate signpost to relevant policies and procedures.

About the requirements:

• NVQ L3 or equivalent in a HR / Administration field (essential)

• Proven experience of working in a similar role and able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision (essential)

• Experience of recruiting/onboarding function (essential)

• Highly organised, you’re adept at managing competing, and sometimes conflicting, priorities (essential)

• Experience of dealing with sensitive, confidential issues (essential)

• Experience of providing first line HR Advice (desirable)

• HRIS experience (desirable)
