Barista/All Rounder

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Ram Mill Business Centre are now looking to recruit full time Barista/Café All rounders to join our team in our café based at Chadderton.

The role is for 37.5 hours per week which is worked over five days, and this includes Bi-monthly Saturdays.

Time: 7am till 3pm or 11am to 7pm Monday to Friday

Saturday: 9am to 4pm

Responsibilities

Provide each customer with a warm welcome and be polite, friendly, and helpful at all times.

Prepare foods and beverages to specification and the highest standards to ensure our customers fully enjoy their experience using our services.

Make sure the kitchen, café and service areas are clean, tidy and well stocked and attractive during opening times, ensuring sufficient supply of crockery/cutlery.

To work within the wash up area including using the dish washer while maintaining health & safety standards by keeping equipment clean, stored correctly and available for use.

To ensure all counters/displays and servery areas are fully stocked, look appealing and replenished/refreshed as required.

Assist when required receiving and checking off deliveries including correct storage

To maintain the highest possible standards of hygiene at all times, ensuring such standards are sustained throughout any food storage, food preparation and food handling activities.

Operation of the till and serving customers

Required Skills

Previous experience in a café environment (Essential)

Excellent communication skills

Customer focused.

Ability to deal with members in a polite and professional manner.

Ability to cope under pressure.

Knowledge on Health & Safety is required.

Hospitality: 1 year (Preferred)

Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
