Trainee Bus Drivers

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We're looking for friendly, caring and confident people who are passionate about customer service to join our amazing team as bus drivers in and around Reading.
All you need is a can-do, customer focused attitude and a clean car licence. Our Academy will train you to help you get your PCV licence (if you don't have one) and your professional development will continue throughout your employment.

We also welcome applications from PCV licence holders.

We offer competitive rates of pay – after successful training drivers join our starter rota (we call it the midi-bus rota) where the basic salary is around £27,300 rising to £30,000+ when you become part of the main rota - with plenty of opportunity for increasing this with overtime.
During the 5-6 week training period the pay is around £434 per week rising to a basic £506 per week when you move to the midi-bus rota and there is a guaranteed minimum of £578 a week when you reach on our main rota. Overtime is often available if you want to earn more!
