Redefine.edu is looking for budding translators to join our team as Assistant Translators. Founded and managed by a team with over 25 years’ experience in the industry, our services ensure that prompt, effective and reasonably priced translations are provided to clients from all over the world. With robust growth since our inception, our Mandarin to English translation services are looking for motivated and diligent translators looking to leave their mark on the industry.

Working to deadlines, engaging with existing processes and procedures, and an attention to detail are key to this role, which will provide the right candidates with a supportive working environment and clearly defined goals to ultimately progress to the role of Senior Translator.

Professional qualifications or at least two years of translation experience is required, but support for exceptional candidates without professional qualifications who are without substantive experience would be considered.

The role is freelance, with progression to senior salaried roles considered after a period of twelve months.

Stage 1 of our hiring process is a mock translation task, with the formative interview focusing on understanding and discussing your example task. As we are experiencing rising demand for our services, interviews are scheduled to begin taking place week commencing January 17th, with immediate starts considered for the right candidates.

Job Type: Freelance, Internship

Remuneration: £25 per hour based on tasks being completed in line with company policy

Any candidates who are nervous about the interview process and wish to discuss the questions which will be asked can reach out upon completion of the Stage 1 task to discuss the remaining process in greater detail.
