General Assistant - Tills - Full and Part time

Role Overview & Responsibilities

As the ideal candidate, you will be well presented, physically fit, professional and friendly with an interest in great customer service and merchandising, as well as having a good eye for detail. Our customers are our main priority, so therefore you will be someone who is passionate about customer service, polite and outgoing, and someone who would always put our customers first.

The successful candidate should ideally have experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

As a General Assistant in our Till team, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering friendly service too our customers
• Accurately processing transactions
• Ensuring our processes are followed
• Assisting customers with advice and carry to car
• Using the EPOS system
• Be able to work as part of a team as well as on your own
• Work in other departments of the garden center if requested
• Discuss our loyalty and feedback program with customers whilst serving

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24-30 per week

Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour
