Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job description

Key Tasks / Responsibilities

• Goods In – Checking Supplier Deliveries against manifest, identifying any discrepancies, binning to location
• Unloading vehicles – containers (handball), pallets, cartons
• Goods Out – Picking, Packing to customer specification
• Re-work and assembly
• Vehicle loading
• Fork lift truck driving – Flexi, Counter Balance, High Level Order Picker, Ride on Pedestrian Truck
• Liaison with Customer Service staff to ensure customer requirements and expectations are met
• Use of systems to create picks and create carrier consignments
• Communicate specific customer requirements to Operations Team
• Execution of tasks and requests to customer requirements
• Checking of paperwork

Key Attributes Required

• 2 years experience in a similar roll
• Diligence and attention to detail
• Good literacy and numeracy
• Punctuality and attendance
• Ability to work both un-supervised and as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines

Salary £21000 per year, + bonus after a successful probation period

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £21,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
