
HR Business Partner
Role Overview & Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join our team.
As a HR Business Partner, you’ll play a part in keeping some of the UK’s biggest brands on the road, responsible for delivering an efficient and professional service to all customers. You’ll be a proactive, self-motivated and high energy individual who will provide broad-ranging generalist HR support for managers and employees enabling the achievement of business ambitions through the delivery of an effective HR service strongly linked to commercial goals.
What you’ll do
- Assist the HR Director and Head of HR to deliver the people strategy
- Partner with the heads of functions to provide value adding support, guidance and advice to ensure they have a high performing team
- Implement and maintain the portfolio of up to date HR policies and procedures and ensure integration of these into management practices across the group
- Working with our recruitment partners, ensure an effective approach to recruitment and selection
- Provide advice and guidance on individual employee relations cases, ensuring risks are well managed and outcomes are in line with business requirements
- Drive HR change initiatives and support all business change initiatives from an HR perspective
- Work with the L&D team to develop good people management practice across the group
- Work with your stakeholders and L&D to succession plan and drive development activities to support both individual and business requirements
- Work with payroll to ensure the smooth running of the monthly payroll process
- Manage relationships with relevant external suppliers and Trade Union
- Be a role model for the employer brand
What you’ve got
- Level 5 CIPD qualification (or equivalent)
- Extensive experience of people management and business change best practice
- Thorough HR employment and case law knowledge
- Experience in a unionised environment
- Accomplished, stakeholder manager at senior management team level
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Energy, resilience and tenacity
- Accomplished at report and business case writing
- Credible representative of the organisation to external parties
- Expertise in the use of MS office applications
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
