Pensions Lawyer Birmingham A unique opportunity has arisen for a Pensions Lawyer to join a Legal 500 Tier 1 ranked international law firm based in Birmingham. It presents an excellent opportunity for a Pensions Lawyer to provide sharp and acute pension consultancy support to their national team.

About the role

This role will give the successful Pensions Lawyer the opportunity to work on a varied and interesting workload of pension work, including:

• Client liaison i.e. being the point of contact for routine queries, updating clients on general developments;
• Preparation and monitoring of project plans
• Assisting the team with the billing process, requesting pre-bills, drafting narratives and covering letters and getting sign off
• Maintaining soft copy filing system for Trustee Board papers and records of meetings and Trustee documents
• Assisting with new business campaigns

About you

The ideal Pensions Lawyer will be working towards their APMI qualification. You will also have:

• A sound understanding of pension matters;
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary to develop strong relationships with clients and market contacts and across the wider firm;
• Be I.T literate with a good knowledge and high degree of competency in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and document management;
• Have excellent organisational skills with acute attention to detail.
