Apprentice Accountant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Daily tasks

- Assisting in preparing financial statements, reports and information

- Completing clients VAT return

- Preparing small business accounts

- Preparing tax returns for businesses and individuals

- Assistance with the preparation of payrolls

- Liaising with clients on a regular basis

- Assisting clients to utilise accounting software correctly and efficiently

Must have

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal

- High attention to detail

- Follow instructions accurately

- Organisation skills

- Work well as part of a team

- IT literate (Word, Excel)

- Confident

- Friendly and approachable

- Open minded and accepting of change

- Punctual and reliable

- A positive ‘can do’ attitude

- Hard working

- Attention to detail

Salary: £10,500.00 per year

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
