Rodo Ltd is a family business that commenced trading over 90 years ago. The Company is a leading supplier of decorative sundries, safety footwear and PPE. Due to continued year on year growth, we have several opportunities within our Despatch team.

Job Role

Despatch workers must be able to work in a fast paced, physically demanding environment, be flexible to working shifts and overtime and take pride in delivering a first-class service to Rodo customers.

Tasks include:

• Accurately picking & packing large volumes of products via computerised voice technology
• Ability to carry out a physically demanding role consistently for the duration of the shift (plus overtime) which includes regularly lifting large and heavy products and hand wrapping pallets
• Occasional use of Flexi & Reach trucks to pick products from racking (must have valid FLT license)
• Occasional work in loading bay and dealing with distribution carriers

Benefits / Hours

39.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern: Mon – Thu 6.00am – 2.30pm, Fri 6.00am - 1.30pm / Mon - Thu 11.15am – 8.00pm, Fri 11.15am – 5.45pm (plus regular compulsory overtime)

• £11.20 per hour rising to £11.48 per hour after completion of 13-week probationary period
• Additional attendance bonus scheme (up to £600 per annum)
• 23 days holiday per year + bank holidays. Extra day for each 2 years to a maximum of 25 days
