Role Overview & Responsibilities

Rollamatic Roofs, Inc., is a custom skylight and retractable roof manufacturer and installer. We serve residential and commercial customers throughout the world with our primary market being California. We have a solid 60 years in business with a reputation of providing high-quality, unique and beautiful products to our customers, a commitment to investing in the development of our team members and have a plan to grow the company significantly in the coming years.

We are looking for a full time Fabricator that will report to our Fabrication/Installation Supervisor and be accountable for fabricating, installing and servicing our products--with aspirations to someday supervise a team of fabricators.

Areas of Accountability:

· Fabrication of products to project specifications using company standard processes

· Installation and servicing of products on customer sites while consistently delivering to company customer service and quality standards.

Competencies Required:

· Able to commit to tasks assigned while exhibiting high self-motivation and a sense of urgency.

· Use a systematic approach to solve problems through analysis of problem and evaluation of alternative solutions.

· Follow manufacturing and installation workflows that conform to established policies and procedures.

Technical/Job Skills:

· Skilled in fabrication procedures for stainless, galvanized and mild steel, such as MIG & TIG welding, grinding, spot welding, plasma cutting and other basic hand tools

· Read and comprehend shop drawings and perform general layout tasks to drawing specs

· Competent in mathematics for use in fabrication workflow

Education/Experience Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in metal fabrication environment

· Able to lift 75 pounds from a standing position

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
