The construction superintendent is responsible for project coordination, budget development and expenditure control, quality assurance, and safety. This position will work collaboratively with design professionals and staff to ensure projects are completed in a safe, timely and efficient manner. This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced construction workerager to join a growing team of professionals in an industry that is experiencing demand for new projects.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect the work sites and make spot checks during inspections.
• Answer questions that contractors may have about the work site or their building materials.
• Make sure that the project is done correctly using construction techniques and codes.
• Discuss problems with contractors and make sure that they are following building guidelines.
• Keep track of which construction codes you should use for each section of the building.
• Make sure that the contractor is following all building codes, especially in areas of electrical wiring and plumbing.
• Check to make sure that all of the required permits are in order before construction begins.
• Make sure that the property being built on is safe for anyone near it during construction.
• Make sure that all of your laborers are doing their jobs correctly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,450.00 - $127,983.00 per year
