Role Overview & Responsibilities

Administration Assistant

Salary: Grade Scale 3 (SCP 5 - 6) - £11,530 - £11,720

Contract Type: 18.75 hours per week, 39 weeks a year (16.27 annualised)

Contract Term: Fixed term 31st March 2024 linked to budget restraints and pupil numbers

Hours of work: 08:45 – 12:30,Monday to Friday

We wish to appoint an experienced administrator to join our admin team, to provide an efficient, effective and well organised administrative service to the school. You will be directed by the School Business Manager to perform a variety of duties.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in administrative work
  • Highly motivated
  • Able to prioritise work in a pressurised environment dealing with a variety of tasks and deadlines
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in a range of IT applications
  • Effective customer care
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all staff, pupils and parents;
  • Willingness to be a team player and go the extra mile to uphold our values;
  • Commitment to the safeguarding of pupils;
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
  • Enthusiastic, flexible and friendly approach;
  • Professional manner at all times.
