Role Overview & Responsibilities

Role: - Scientist- HPLC (Biopharmaceutical)

Location: - Lancashire

Salary: - Competitive salary

Working hours: - Monday-Friday (flexitime to accommodate lifestyle)
This is an onsite role due to the nature of the role- gym & restaurant on site,

Russell-Taylor Group have a fantastic opportunity for number of Scientists & Senior Scientist level candidates who are looking to massively expand their pharmaceutical side of the business by the end of 2023.

Our client is looking for scientists with an extensive range of analytical instrumentation skills with previous experience of developing and validating methods, specifically HPLC.

Responsibilities

· Conduct chromatography skills (at least two techniques) HPLC (RP, HIC, IEX, HILIC), GC (MS, FID, TCD, ECD) and/or IC (Ion chromatography) and assessment of drug performance, Bioavailability, Bioequivalence and dissolution).

· Be a lead investigator working on a number of projects. These projects will all differ in size and length of project.

· Opportunity to become a technical reviewer.

· Support with method validation, method optimisation and method development with some guidance when needed.

· Support more junior members of the team.

The Person

· Educated to degree level in a Scientific discipline- BSC, MSc OR PhD (Chemistry related subject would be preferred).

· Experience and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry with experience of chromatography techniques (HPLC specifically).

· Experience of Method Development and Method Validation for drug performance, bioavailability, bioequivalence, or dissolution.

· Experience of working in a GMP/GLP/GCP laboratory

· Experience of supervising/training junior analysts/scientists

· Excellent problem-solving techniques

· Clear written & verbal communication skills
