Role Overview & Responsibilities

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAM) is one of four heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair's entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.

We are currently recruiting for individuals to enter our Aircraft Structural Repair Apprentice program. Aircraft Structural Repair Apprentices will be involved in all aircraft structural sheet metal repairs I.A.W. approved maintenance data of the aircraft.

The apprenticeship program is three years and based at our hangar facility in Prestwick. This is an excellent opportunity for successful candidates to work in an exciting, vibrant industry and obtain a recognised qualification in aircraft maintenance.

Together with good hands on capability and a natural aptitude for problem-solving, candidates must have a good understanding of Mathematics, Physics and demonstrate a keen interest in mechanics & aviation.

Preference will be given to candidates who have a good academic record and successfully completed, or are about to complete, an Aeronautical Engineering related qualification. The recruitment process for this role consists of an aptitude test, a practical skills assessment and a formal technical interview (all completed on the same day).
