More about the role:

  • Build, design and support large scale real-time and batch data pipelines
  • Programming in one or more languages within our data eco-system e.g. Python
  • Implement cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Use best practices in continuous integration and delivery

. Test Driven Development practices, Unit, Lint, Integration, End to End Tests

  • Work collaboratively within a team of cross-functional engineers
  • Work with structured, semi-structure and unstructured data

Our technology stack for the role:

  • Infrastructure As Code: Terraform
  • Programming Languages: Python, SQL
  • Data Warehouse: Snowflake
  • Cloud Services: AWS (S3, Lambda functions, ECS, KINESIS Firehose, CloudWatch, API Gateway, RDS)
  • CI/CD: CircleCI, GoCD, CodePipeline
  • Version Control : Git / GitHub
  • Workflow management system: Airflow
  • Data Transformation Tool: dbt

What we’re looking for:

  • An engineer with a passion for delivering solutions to customers.
  • Someone who likes to roll up their sleeves and has hands on experience of the languages, tools and infrastructure
  • Knowledgeable about data modelling, data analysis and synthesis, access and storage
  • Self-driven and constantly striving to improve your team
  • Advocate of agile/lean delivery methodologies
  • Passionate about learning
