3 Shift Production Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Established in 1987, Sanko Gosei UK is a first tier supplier in the automotive industry, producing both interior and exterior moulded and assembled components, a recruitment need has arisen for the position of production operative:

Job Description

• To produce parts to given quality standards whilst achieving maximum efficient production.

Responsibilities and Duties

• To produce plastic parts for the automotive industry by either working on an injection moulding machine or completing on an assembly bench.
• To meet the set production targets as required.
• To finish parts in line with given operating methods.
• To check quality of products against given quality standards.
• To highlight component problems as soon as they arise.
• To perform secondary operations, including finishing, checking and packing of parts.
• To prepare packing materials for packing parts.
• To collect, collate and record data on production quantities by completing timesheets or updating the necessary production monitoring system.
• To rework incorrect quality parts.
• Promote highlight and respond to any health and safety issues as required.
• To maintain high levels of housekeeping at all times.
• Any other duties as required.

Hours of Work:

3 Shift rotation (week of each)

0700 - 1500 (Mon-Fri)

2300 - 0700 (Sun - Thurs)

1500 - 2300 (Mon-Thurs) &1500 - 2200 Fri (paid for full 8hrs)

Qualifications and Skills

• No specific academic qualifications are required as training will be given.
• Experience of working within a production environment is preferred.
• Good level of dexterity

Overtime

On completion of your full contracted hours any overtime worked will be x 1.5.

Friday night between 2200 and 0600 is x 2

Benefits

7% attendance bonus (providing you attend work each month for your full contracted hrs you will earn £12.26 per hour)

24 days holiday per year (excluding bank holidays)

3% Company contributed pension scheme.

Monthly Pay.

Must provide evidence of settlement status if you are an EU national.
