Sports Coach for Summer Holiday Club

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Schools Out Club are seeking to recruit a sports coach for our new holiday club that will be located in Brookfield Primary, Mickleover, Derby. The position involves candidates creating a fun, stimulating activities and environment for children aged 3-11 years old. Opportunity for May half term/term time hours if required.

Must be someone with experience working with large groups of children with an excellent knowledge of sports and games.

Our holiday club opens 7:30-6:00pm therefore many hours available if wanted. Alternatively, half day shifts available.

This position will involve planning and providing engaging physical activities for children that are fun. The applicant will also be required to safely escort children to and from the school as well as the day to day duties involved in providing an outstanding out of school service.

During school holidays we offer a wide range of activities therefore will also be expected to deliver a varied program throughout the day, joining in and leading activities including cooking, craft, sport and science experiments.

Applicants must be confident, energetic and passionate about delivering high quality childcare. Applicants must have the ability to develop excellent relationships and have good communication with the children they will care for, parents, out side professionals and be able to work as part of a team, problem solving, sharing and developing new ideas.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

Salary: £9.50-£11.50 per hour
