Security Concierge Officer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

A vacancy has arisen for a flexible and experienced SIA Licensed (front-line) Security officer to work in a student accommodation environment in Manchester.

Your responsibilities will include;

• Commitment to providing professional customer service.
• Assisting and dealing with residents living in the supported accommodation.
• Providing a high visual profile to act as a deterrent and promote a safe working environment.
• Providing reports for outstanding health and safety issues and hazards.
• Maintaining record of all incidents in written reports.
• Controlling access/egress and maintaining signing in/out books.
• Responding to and addressing any alarm activations.
• Conducting internal and external patrols.

The Candidate will:-

• Must hold or obtain a valid front line SIA licence (please note, an applicant cannot be employed until a licence has been granted).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Be able to provide a full 5 years work history.
• Have excellent time management skills.
• Have good written and communication skills.
• Be a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Be self-motivated and have the ability to work on own initiative.
• Be confident and smart in appearance.
• Be able to work flexible hours and take part in a rota system.
• Ensure the company comply at all times with industry standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to prioritise workloads ensuring attention to detail is maintained.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.

What we offer:-

• Shift patterns available; Monday – Sunday, days / nights.
• Guaranteed hours (not zero hours).
• Minimum 45 hours plus per week. Applicants must be flexible.
• 28 days annual leave per year.

Salary: £9.50 per hour

Licence/Certification:

• Front Line SIA Licence (preferred)
