Position: Security Officer

Position: Full-time & Part Time Positions Available

Based: Cardiff

Salary: £9.50 - £10.00 (per hour - breaks are paid)

Shift: Generally 4 on / 4 off rolling shift pattern how can be discussed

Hours: 12 hours per shift

SGD Guarding Ltd is the protective services arm of the SGD Group of Companies who specialise in the provision of electronic security & fire systems to clients throughout the United Kingdom.

Position

As a Security Officer you will represent SGD Guarding Ltd and are expected to lead by example and uphold the highest ethical and moral standards. You will effectively deliver the day-to-day operations for one of our clients sites to ensure service deliverable match and exceed contract requirements.

Duties

· To respond to site alarm activations

· To conduct lock / unlock of client site

· To conduct patrols as required

· To complete all required documentation

· To support the management team

· To comply with company codes, policies & procedures

· To maintain a working knowledge of site assignment instructions

Requirements

· SIA licensed Security Officer

· First aid qualified

· Must be able to problem solve

· Must be able to multi-task and prioritise workloads

· Willing to embrace new challenges

· Good communication skills

· Effective report writing

· Full UK driving licence for at least 2 years

· Must be able to pass a DBS check

· Provide a 5-year checkable work history

· Be able to work as part of a team or lone worker

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £9.50-£10.00 per hour
