Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Role

I am looking for a talented interior photographer to work on a freelance basis, who has at least 2 year’s experience working with estate agents to produce photographs and floor plans of properties in North and East London. Areas covered include Stoke Newington, Hornsey, Highgate and Wanstead.

I am in the process of scaling my business having operated on my own since 2013. My client base has now grown, and I am looking to hire some talented property photographers to help with the increased work flow. Initially it may be 2-3 jobs per week, but I hope in the coming months this will rise as I take more clients on.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate must have experience working with estate agents to produce photographs and floor plans in a 24 hour turn around, be organised and on time for appointments while presenting themselves in a professional manner to clients.

Each job will need up to 20 photos shooting and a floor plan drawn. If you have experience of any of the following this would be helpful and give you the opportunity to earn more on each job.

• shooting video on your phone using a gimbal
• shooting Matterport virtual tours
• Flying drones

You will be required to do a bit of tidying at times in properties where necessary to get the best looking shots, so I am looking for some with an eye for detail who doesn't mind having to move things around a property but will always leave the property as they found it.

Skills / Qualifications / Equipment

• At least 2 year’s experience working with Estate agents, photographing and drawing floor plans of properties.
• Must have own transport and a clean driving licence.
• Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Light Room.
• Must have own equipment which includes a mirrorless or DSLR camera, a wide lens, typically 14mm or 16mm,
• Wireless Flash and a tripod.
• Able to sketch floor plans neatly
• Know how to shoot Flambient and HDR techniques to achieve natural looking images.
• Able to produce quality work in a quick 24 hour turn around
• Speaks good English
• Polite and well-mannered with clients, both in people’s homes and also with the estate agents
• In addition to this a 360 camera (Matterport compliant), phone gimbal and a drone would also be helpful and allow you the opportunity to earn more on each job.

Additional Skills and experience

• Experience shooting video would be helpful although not essential, I can give training for this.
• Experience using 360 camera's and Matterport software
• Experience flying drones
• Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA)
